RFP Response Wins $390M Government Contract
The State of Georgia released an RFP for media buying and advertising efforts of all government programs and initiatives across the entire state– a contract of $390 Million that spanned topics like voting, public health, tourism, agriculture, welfare, etc. The competition to win the deal was extreme with over 50 agencies responding to the RFP. As Creative Director of the agency, I selected the programs we would create strategies and mock campaigns for, wrote our technical response for how we would service the account creatively, and worked cross-functionally with our sales team. The output from me and the creative team equated to 70% of the overall 100+ page RFP response.
RESULTS: Our agency was awarded a $390 Million contract from the State of Georgia, both the largest contract ever awarded by the state and the largest contract in the agency’s history.
