
Sam’s Club: The Super Bowl
Sam’s Club ran their first-ever Super Bowl ad, featuring Kevin Hart using the the Scan & Go™ app as a VIP feature now available in stores for members. In the ad, Hart wants everyone to know that he is a Very Important Person, even if everyone else at Sam's Club is too. With an audience averaging 112.3 Million viewers during Super Bowl LVI, Kevin Hart shows how app that allows customers to scan the barcodes of items in the store, pay for it as they are going through the store and avoid having to wait in a checkout line. As you can imagine, it took nearly the entire creative team to pull this off. In addition to the commercial itself was the special Super Bowl membership offer bolstered by a robust digital and social campaign I was Creative Director for.
RESULTS: Campaign drove over 207K new memberships in 2 weeks, generated 4B+ impressions, 42K social mentions, and 38K app downloads.
